Thoughtful, detail-oriented, poised, and truly invested in helping the candidates and clients we serve, Mary is a skilled and integral part of our placement team. But as much as we’d love to take credit for how awesome she is, it was her journey to us that makes her all the more special.

As one of six children raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Mary grew up caring for others. She was the neighborhood go-to for babysitting, and worked her way through college, and beyond, as a professional nanny, household manager, and personal assistant on a part and full-time basis. After receiving her degree from Northeastern Illinois University in Communications, Media Theatre, with a minor in Human Resource Development, she wrapped up the last of her long-term, in-home placements and quickly parlayed her natural match-making skills into a successful career in temporary staffing and recruiting. Working for 5 years for a Chicago-based firm, she found the job came naturally to her, but something was missing. Joining the ABC Nannies team in 2017 gave her the opportunity to use her natural match-making abilities to help families and nannies - it was ideal!

Her 17+ years of recruiting, staffing, and household experience gives her a truly unique understanding of what’s needed to cultivate successful long-term placements. Mary is a helper - she’s an Enneagram 2 - and she spends each and every day helping our clients and our candidates find the happiness, peace of mind, success they deserve.

And when she’s not working, which isn’t as often as we think it should be, Mary loves to spend time with her fiancé, and her pup, Tucker, wedding planning, traveling, and spending time with her family (she’s the best aunt!)…all over a good glass of wine, of course.
